Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative individual to join our team as a Junior Recruiter / Phone Screener (m/f/d). In this critical role, you will play a vital part in our recruitment process by conducting initial phone screenings of potential candidates in Australia.

Your Responsibilities


  • Phone Screening: Conduct phone interviews with potential candidates to assess their qualifications, experience, and overall fit for the role.
  • Candidate Evaluation: Evaluate candidates' communication skills, professional background, and cultural fit to determine their suitability for further stages of the recruitment process.
  • Preparation: Review candidates' resumes and application materials prior to phone screenings to ensure a comprehensive understanding of their background and qualifications.
  • Questioning and Assessment: Ask relevant and probing questions to gauge candidates' technical skills, experience, and motivation for the role.
  • Documentation: Accurately and thoroughly document candidates' responses, impressions, and notes from phone screenings in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive and respectful candidate experience by providing information about the company, role, and recruitment process, and addressing candidates' questions.

Your Profile


  • Experience: Prior experience in recruitment or sales, cold calling experience is a big plus.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage candidates professionally and convey information clearly.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with candidates from diverse backgrounds.
  • Organization: Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple candidates and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to different personalities.
